In the heart of Gâtine, in the small village of La Fazilière, once renowned for its basket makers, this holiday home offers stunning views over rolling countryside. The independent house features a large enclosed garden of 1,500 m², a secure courtyard of 300 m², and a sunny covered terrace with outdoor seating and a plancha grill. A carport, bike storage, and an outdoor WC are also available. On the ground floor, the 25 m² kitchen-dining area is well equipped and opens onto a 16 m² living room with a wood-burning stove. Wi-Fi internet is provided. Upstairs, there are three bedrooms: bedroom 1 (12.4 m², one double bed), bedroom 2 (14 m², one double bed), bedroom 3 (10 m², one single bed). A bathroom with WC completes the upper floor. Central gas heating is included. Many hiking trails start from the village, including the GR 364. The International Games Festival is held in July in Parthenay. Nearby, you’ll find the Beugnon lake (2 km, fishing), the Secondigny state forest (3 km), the Effres lake in Secondigny (7 km, swimming pool, tennis, fishing, playground), Pougne-Hérisson (18 km, “Navel of the World”), Parthenay (25 km, medieval town, festivals), Mervent (30 min, forest, lake and zoo), the Marais Poitevin (40 min, boat trips), Puy du Fou (1 hr), Futuroscope and La Rochelle (1 hr 30 min).
